The Mid-Ohio Valley Workforce Development Board and the City of Parkersburg are offering incoming and graduating Seniors the opportunity to participate in an Apprenticeship Readiness Camp from July 7-11 at the Laborer's Training Center in Mineral Wells. Students will have the opportunity to explore the skilled trades by touring the local training centers and meeting with their Business Managers. The program will run from 8:30am to 2:30pm July 7-11 and will include hands-on projects, field trips, VR career simulations and guest speakers. Participants will earn certificates in workplace safety and customer service. Space is limited space.
