The Mid-Ohio Valley Workforce Development Board and the City of Parkersburg are offering incoming 9th – 11th graders the opportunity to participate in a CTE Exploration program from June 16-18 at the Wood County Technical Center. Students will have the opportunity to explore the skilled trades of carpentry, welding, electrical as well as automotive, aviation, health care, and culinary. The program will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm June 16-18 and will include hands-on projects, field trips, VR career simulations and guest speakers. Participants will earn certificates in workplace safety and customer service. Space is limited space.
