The Wood County Board of Education will once again provide free meals to children through its federally funded Summer Food Service Program. The program will operate from June 15 through August 7, 2026, offering breakfast, lunch, and snacks at multiple locations throughout Wood County.
All children 18 years of age and younger are eligible to receive meals at no cost. Meal sites include schools, community centers, parks, and partner organizations across Parkersburg, Vienna, and Washington.
The Summer Nutrition Program helps ensure children continue to have access to healthy meals while school is not in session. Families seeking additional information may contact Hollie Best, Child Nutrition Director, at 304-420-9631, extension 104.
For a complete list of meal sites, dates, and serving times, families are encouraged to review the Summer Nutrition Program schedule provided by Wood County Schools.
