Buddy Bag meal pre-orders open
PARKERSBURG - Pre-orders for Buddy Bag meals for the week of Oct. 26 are now open.
Parents may go to https://tinyurl.com/y5njmn66 to pre-order the meals. Students pick up the meals at the end of the school day, and each contains a breakfast and lunch for the following day.
Pre-orders are due by 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26. Pre-orders begin on Wednesdays for the following week. Orders must be placed separately for each student. On Fridays, meals can be picked up curbside from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The Wood County Board of Education will be holding a special meeting regarding re-entry of the 2020-21 school year on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.. The Board will be receiving updates regarding the current status of positivity incidents, guidelines, individual school plans, and other metrics for re-entry. Upon receiving information and public comment, the Board will take up action items regarding re-entry and our plans/goals moving forward. WVDHHR update: Wood County's 7-day rolling average is 2.39, which keeps us in the "Green" status. Also, last night at the WCBOE meeting, we changed our color coded re-entry document to eliminate confusion with the WVDHHR map. Green is now "Full-time, in person", Yellow is now "Blended ", and Red is now "Remote". Also, until CDC guidelines can be followed, or more flexibility is given regarding our feeding procedures, we will continue our Blended learning schedule. Principals and other administrators are working very hard to formulate creative methods to meet the guidelines for Full-time, in person learning, while keeping the safety of our students and employees as top priority. I know this is a burden for many, but I have full faith in our administrators, leadership teams, and stakeholders to develop a solid plan to meet all guidelines in the very near future. WVDHHR map update: Wood County's 7 day rolling average for Tuesday, September 22 is 2.91, which keeps us in the "Green status". The Wood Co. Board of Education is meeting tonight to discuss our re-entry schedule for next week. When a decision has been made, communication to all stakeholders will be relayed.
