3rd–5th Grade Lubeck Parents/Guardians,
WCS encourages families to review the information regarding the upcoming CyberSWAT training before making a decision about their child’s participation. The attached links provide program details as well as access to the online Opt-Out form. WCS recognizes that some of the topics covered in the training—including online safety risks and digital interactions—may be sensitive in nature for some students and families. Parents and guardians are encouraged to carefully review the material and decide what they feel is most appropriate for their child. Please complete the Opt-Out form by Friday, May 22. The CyberSWAT training will be provided on Tuesday, May 26, to all 3rd–5th grade students whose families have not submitted the Opt-Out form.

This is Mrs. Roberts with a reminder about upcoming GSA testing for 3rd and 4th grade.
4th Grade students will take the ELA assessment Monday May 4th. 3rd Grade will take the ELA assessment on Tuesday May 5th
Please encourage your child to take their time and do their best on each test. Make sure they have a healthy dinner the night before, breakfast the morning of, and plenty of sleep.
It is very important that students arrive on time. If they are late, they will not be permitted to enter the classroom once testing begins and will need to make up the test at a later date. Students also cannot be checked out once testing has started, so please plan accordingly.
Also, May 4th-8th is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please try to shower them with kind words, a heart felt story or even a small gift to show your appreciation for all their hard work. They truly deserve all the appreciation in the world.
This is also the last week of Track Season. The County Championship will be taking place May 6th - 7th at Parkersburg High School. Field events start at 5:30pm and Running will start around 6:00pm. Please come out and cheer on our athletes!

All of the staff at Lubeck would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your promptness, cooperation, and kindness during this morning’s emergency pick-up due to the waterline break.
At this time, we are planning for a normal school day tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
We know the past couple of weeks have been especially hectic with the ongoing construction, and we truly appreciate your continued patience and support. We are so fortunate to be part of such an amazing school community.
Thank you again for everything you do—it's always a great day to be a Lubeck Panther!

We wanted you to be aware that the maintenance project that started today will continue throughout next week. You will not be able to pull into the parking lot as the bus lane will be closed.
During this time, both buses and parent drop-off and pick-up, will take place on Lubeck Road. You will drop your child off at the stairs in front of the drop off door. We will have staff monitoring and assisting. We simply ask you to stay behind the busses as you normally do, and have your child ready to exit quickly as soon as you pull up to the drop off stop.
The dismissal process went great today and we will continue with that process until the project is done.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our facilities for your safety. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Report cards were sent home January 23rd. Please sign and return the envelopes.
NTID Submission due dates:
Packet #2 - DUE Tuesday, February 3
Packet #3 - DUE Wednesday, February 4
Packet #4 - DUE Thursday, February 5
Changes in morning drop off due to icy parking lot conditions, please drop your child off at the main entrance, door 1 off Lubeck Rd., or door 8, by the kindergarten hallway. If you drop off in the back parking lot, please walk carefully as it is still icy as well.
We have missed you all so much and can't wait to see you all back in the building. Go Panthers.
