Students have received an email in their Wood County Schools student email account containing a personalized link to access their GSA score reports. Parents and guardians are encouraged to work with their child to retrieve the email and review the results together.
The score report provides detailed information about your child's performance and can help identify academic strengths as well as areas for continued growth.
If your child cannot locate the email or is experiencing difficulty accessing their score report, please contact your child's school for assistance.
We encourage all families to review these results and discuss them with their child as part of supporting continued academic success.
Today is iPad collection day. If your student was not present this morning, they should bring their iPad, charging block, and cord to the high school office(for high school students) or the middle school office (for middle school students) this afternoon or Monday morning.
Students need to bring a COMPLETED physical form with them. Those forms can be picked up at the athletic office.
2026 Graduation Information:
Graduation will be at 6:00 at the football stadium. The backup location (in the case of a thunderstorm) will be the WMHS auditorium. If the ceremony is indoors, students will only be allowed to have five ticketed guests. There will be overflow in the cafeteria for non-ticketed guests. Please note, we will not move indoors unless it is absolutely necessary. We will make a final determination on that tomorrow afternoon.
Parking for graduation will be in the back parking lot, at the old elementary school, or on the street. Reserved handicap parking will be in the weight room parking lot on the corner of 7th and Williams. The gravel lot near the park, behind the ambulance building, will be reserved parking only.
Graduates should report to the high school gym on graduation day by 5:30 pm.
Lastly, no stiletto style heels can be worn on the turf field. Wedges and large block heels are fine. If you plan to take photos on the field with your graduates, you will need to wear appropriate shoes. Please pass this along to out of town guests that may be in attendance.

Prom tickets go on sale today and will be on sale all next week. Students can purchase tickets during lunch or on the GoFan app. Cost is $25 per person. Students purchasing online will still need to pick up their paper ticket from Ms. Wigal. If students are bringing outside guests to prom, approval forms are due to Mrs. Bryant by April 21 before 3:00 pm. ALL outside guests must be approved. Forms are located outside of Mrs. Bryant's office.
Your student should come to school with all items needed for their evening sporting events. They should NOT be signing out before their team is dismissed for away contests. Our athletes are students first and should not be missing instruction to make a trip home before their bus departures. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
