Families,
Wood County Schools is in the process of adopting a new communication/electronic devices policy. For elementary students, this will mean that students must power off cell phones and smartwatches before entering the building. Phones and watches will need to be placed in backpacks and lockers. Students will be able to turn their devices back on after school. You may review the policy on the Wood County Schools page. More detailed information will be shared when school starts.

Tomorrow is Inflatable Day for PK-5 Grade Students. This event is sponsored by our PTA. Our hope is to have everything outside, however, the final call will be made in the morning. We have a plan B if the weather looks questionable. Part of the inflatables will be outside and part in the gym. You are welcome to send a change of clothes, just in case. Hopefully, the sun will shine until after 3:00 :)

This is just an FYI for families. Tomorrow around 10:00 AM, there will be a SWAT truck parked in front of the school. We have been doing a food drive for Children's Home Society and Captain Rick George (Wood County Sheriff's Department) will be picking up the items and delivering them to CHS. If you haven't sent in items and want to help out, please send them with your child in the morning.
