We have an exciting addition to our library! They have to stay covered for a few more days, but soon new friends will emerge! We can't wait!! Ask your Falcons if they know what they are.

Parents, please remind students that they are not to bring toys or personal products (such as. lotions, perfumes, hairspray, etc.) to school. Toys cause distractions to the learning environment. The personal products can cause allergic reactions and/or safety risks. Again, these items are not to be brought to school. If you have any questions, please call. Thank you and have a great week!

Franklin Elementary is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to participate in their Read Aloud program, starting in October. Volunteers will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students by fostering a love for reading and enhancing their literacy skills. This commitment involves visiting the school once a week to read aloud to classes, engaging students with captivating stories, and encouraging their imaginations. If you have a passion for literature and a desire to inspire young minds, consider joining this rewarding initiative. Your participation can make a significant difference in the educational journey of these children.

Safety is our first priority at Franklin Elementary. Earlier this summer, bus drivers were asked if they would volunteer time during the first week of school to discuss bus safety, expectations, and signals used by the driver to know when it is safe to cross the street. We are thankful for our bus drivers who were willing to support the effort by agreeing to come speak to the students. Students are expected to follow the bus rules and expectations to ensure their safety in the event of an accident and to prevent accidents from occurring.
