Now, our SOAR Students of the Week will receive a token to pick out their very own book as part of their reward—how awesome is that?!
We made sure to celebrate all of our SOAR students from earlier this year by letting them grab their books too. So many smiles, so much excitement, and a whole lot of reading ahead! 💙📖

Join us on Thursday, April 2, as Franklin Elementary comes together to support Autism Awareness & Acceptance Day by wearing BLUE!
This is a special opportunity for our staff and students to show love, understanding, and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Why it matters:
✨ Autism affects 1 in 36 children, meaning many of our students, friends, and families are directly impacted.
✨ Students with autism bring unique strengths—creativity, attention to detail, honesty, and different ways of thinking that enrich our school community.
✨ Awareness leads to acceptance, and acceptance creates a school where every child feels valued, included, and supported.
✨ Small acts of kindness and understanding can make a BIG difference in a child’s confidence and success.
Let’s show our Franklin pride by wearing blue and continuing to build a school where everyone belongs. 💙

Franklin Falcons, this Friday is a BIG DAY--It's National Scribble Day!!
We'll be celebrating Scribble Spot in fun ways throughout the entire day, AND students can come to school dressed as Scribble Spot!
The excitement doesn't stop there!
The class with the best attendance for the week will earn the chance to "scribble" Ms. Sloan with silly string!
Millie and Ainsley will get to pie Ms. Carpenter as their reward for completing Finn's Mission for the Kids Heart Challenge!
We will also finally recognize our high selllers and winners from the chocolate fundraiser, who will have the opportunity to pie or silly string Mr. McIntyre!
It's going to be a fun-filled day you won't want to miss!

Lifetouch is celebrating 90 years of school photography in 2026, and we have operated with a single mission for each of those 90 years – to safely capture milestone moments for families to cherish.

Hello Franklin Falcon families! We’ve set a goal to create a community of lifesavers by getting everyone to complete Finn’s Mission and learn Hands-Only CPR. When given immediately, Hands-Only CPR can double (or even triple) a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest. If you haven’t done it yet, complete Finn’s Mission today to learn this lifesaving skill and earn special thank-you gifts. Any student who completes Finn's Mission will have their name put into a drawing to pie Ms. Carpenter in the face.
