Now is a good time to start preparing for next school year. Students who are entering 7th and 12th grade, do not forget about your required vaccines(Tdap and Meningitis)! These are required before starting next school year. An annual comprehensive physical and dental exam are also required. Check in with your primary care provider to see if the vaccines have already been completed or to make an appointment for the exams and vaccines.

In conjunction with the WV Higher Education, Policy Commission , the Counseling Department is hosting a FAFSA workshop this Thursday, January 18, from 4-6 at the school. A representative from the WVHEPC will be on-hand to guide you through the form. Some questions can be difficult/confusing to answer, so it's great to have a FAFSA expert on hand. If you just want to come to ask questions, that is okay too! Make sure you apply for an FSA ID before the workshop if you plan to do the FAFSA that evening. One parent and the student must have an ID. Do not use a student k12 email, and do not use the same email for the two different IDs. Questions? Contact Ms. Justice at gjustice@k12.wv.us.
