School nurses will administer the vaccine to students whose parents/guardians have completed and returned a Vaccine Consent form. Consent forms will be available in student services, the nurse’s office or the admin office starting tomorrow.
Covid vaccination is protection for your family as well as our school and community. An added benefit to being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is not having to quarantine if exposed to a positive case of Covid-19… as long as the exposed individual remains asymptomatic. This will help to keep your child consistently in school and participating in other activities.
If you prefer to be present at school with your child while they are vaccinated or if you have indicated that you would like to also be vaccinated, those arrangements can be made with your school nurse.
Please complete the vaccine consent form and return it to your school nurse today to reserve your vaccines. If you have further questions please call us at 304-420-9595.
